Nutrition

Mind and Body Pilates has partnered with Nicole Seana, a Registered Dietitian (RD) and Certified Dietitian (CD), to address issues of nutrition especially as it relates to fitness for a holistic approach to optimal health.  She is available for consultation on an ongoing basis or a one time evaluation.  She will also be a contributing writer to our blog as well as including some basic nutrition information below.  

Nicole Seana is an expert on nutrition for athletes and other active individuals, assisted by her own experience as a collegiate athlete, ultramarathon runner and cyclist.  She also draws on her experience working with athletes at Seattle Pacific University to identify nutrition strategies for her clients to get the most out of their workouts and have the energy they need to meet their goals.
Nicole can create nutrition plans to address health concerns, such as heart healthy eating, weight management, blood sugar balance and clean eating.  Her years working as a clinical dietician at a large local hospital and her experience instructing students in sports nutrition at Seattle University give her the knowledge to address any dietary or medical issues with the most current research, using proven approaches to get her clients the results they seek. 

Nicole respects the priorities and food preferences of her clients, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all plan for everyone.  Instead, she is committed to working with her clients to find the ideal, personalized approach to help them achieve their goals, and stay motivated while doing it.
